This image was a flook. I intended to get a shot like this:
I was using a zoom lens, (Why, I'm not sure...) and my finger slipped! I fell forward onto my Canon EOs Rebel 300D (not breaking it) but actually falling onto the zoom mechanism on my 18-55 lens ending up with this: wierd effect. I liked it, did a little photoshoping and submited it... Here are the editing steps:
1) Croped it so the the shoe box was in the middle
2) Did my own leveling work (I rarely use auto levels)
3) A little curves
4) B/C
Then I resized and submited...
This is the original:

Like the zoom blur, otherwise, I'm afraid there would not be much to this. |

The zoom effect provides nice drama to this image, the image could use a bit of color infusion though. |

It's really hard to tell what this is. I think it's a pair of old shoes, which is a bit boring. Nice zoom effect though. I can never get these to work. |
