 Taken at the San Diego Zoo on the first outing with my new Canon 100mm macro lens. Rotated 90 degrees, cropped, cloned-out a red feed tube in the upper-right corner, resized, adjusted levels and saturation, sharpened, added slight Gaussian blur to a background layer to reduce noise, re-sharpened and re-adjusted levels on foreground layer. (Not the best workflow, I know...)

You mean a "humming bird" AKA "bird flies like a bug" LOL

I like this, I am glad you didn't stop its wings... i was kind of sick and tired seeing stop motion humming birds. Sharp and focused face :)

Fine detail around the head but it could be improved with a little more sharpening. I like the crop with the bill pointing to the corner of the frame. It's a shame the background has similar colours to the bird.
