I had to look up what a Zimmer frame was. I would call it a "walker" here in the U.S. I wonder what the purpose of this mechanism is? Was the tree split apart at one time?
Looks more like a belt to me, though. I share a lot in common with this tree: A case of Dunlap's disease. |

| That is one interesting tree...but maybe you needed better light, a wider angle and uncluttered background to make it a special image (maybe not possible for this tree??) |
