 We have relatives/friends in this weekend from out of town and we all went to the local hamburger place for dinner. Schoop's is a chain in NW Indiana and all the restaurants are decorated like old fashioned diners. Lots of red, black, and chrome can be found inside.

On the way in the painted brick caught my eye and I went out for a few quick shots while we waited for dinner. I only had the 50mm with me and light was low and I didn't go get the tripod. It was windy and cold so I wanted to get back inside ASAP. I think one day I'll have to get back when it's warmer to shoot some more.

The color is great here. I like the minimal, stark look of the shot despite all the texture in the brick.

Nice colors. I would have liked to see the S on the sign, but since it was cold, you're excused. :op Very interesting light areas.
