I think this scored lower than I would have placed it, mainly because most voters (and photographers) seemed to overlook the wabi-sabi concept within the description and focused solely on the challenge title instead. |

This is an excellent image, and I'm glad you're pleased with it too. Makes me laugh when I see some of the images that have finished higher than this ;) |

It's a beautiful photograph; however, the wikipedia article about Wabi Sabi specifically mentions Japanese tea bowls. I wish you would have pushed your creative impetus. |

This was almost exactly what I was envisioning when i read the definition of Wabi-Sabi. Other than the composition seeming a little forced, this is great. |

:) Gotta love it. I love the way you framed this up. Great use of lighting as well. Just a very very nice shot. |

Very interesting, a black background was a good choice for this. |

A much loved piece of pottery, loved perhaps more for it's imperfections and assymmetry than for it's utility. I have a similar piece of my own! |

The lighting, focus, composition and subject are excellent. My only slight nitpick is the feeling that it's been cut off at the bottom too soon, still my pick for the top 3 ;) |
