 Friend's daughter's graduation party. There were heaters set up outside, due to the nasty cold.

I was taking candids - advantage of little P&S is that nobody really notices - and this girl was trying to warm her hands on the heat rays emanating from the heater.

I love the look I captured - she looks like she's dancing the dance of seven veils, trying to seduce that block head sitting in front.

There were different processing options, but I ended up just using it 'au naturel', with some levels, sharpening, crop, resize, the tiniest bit of Lucis Exposure, a bit of Perfectum, some more sharpening.

I really like this, but there's something ... weird? about her face. Maybe it's the processing or blur from odd movement? Or just my monitor. Overall, though, I do like it. Several things going on all at once, really captures the feel of the party.

This is a story within a story. What it looks like is totally different from what was actually going on. The processing gave an excellent result with the skin tones being so natural looking. That's a pretty girl in the shot.

love the au naturel and her brilliant happy expression .. it does look like she's dancing .. ppl often dont seem to notice me even tho i've got the canon 400D .. altho maybe they're pretending not to notice !!! .. :)
