 I got some comments before I could write about this photo - thanks!!

This was a killer to process. They were both moving and the kitchen cabinetry is dead ugly. I decided to go with BW, and fiddled with various conversion methods, levels, different contrasts, hard light, softer light, etc. Consequently, I don't really remember all my steps, because I worked on it a long time.

In my opinion, this candid is a jewel. Pure photographer's luck, let me tell you.

I love the composition here; the over the shoulder look, the details; perhaps the whole thing needs a "wash" over it to remove the hard edges.

What a great image. For me, there's a lot of story here, slightly menacing, and it also has a fifties or sixties feeling, enhanced by the houndstooth, despite the modern kitchen. A great image.

This one immediately grabbed my attention from your new uploads. I like the B&W (don't I always??) but the slight motion brings this alive. Nice job!
