The bird seems just a tad out of focus but I think the background is fantastic.

sweet image Julianne! Hang in there now & don't get frustrated with that Canon! Birds can be difficult to keep still eh? Birds not always cooperative with staying still eh?

A pleasing composition and colour tones, and very apt for Christmas! As you know the slight motion blur has hurt it in the voting - in retrospect you could have afforded to increase the shutter speed at the expense of a shallower dof. Nonetheless, a picture I would have been glad to have taken.

I thought it was a pretty scene with the bird and the droplets on the needles, but the OOF took away some of the punch.

The crop works well for me and the composition with the brown on the green is attractive, but it really looks a bit out of focus (the bird that is).
