 While this won't have broad appeal, this picture is the epitome of silence to me, being that it is of how and where I spend my quiet "alone" time. It was taken from my bed, looking out my window; the focus is a bit soft and the contrast too heavy, but I like it this way. I know I'll catch some negativity for softening it with NeatImage, but in truth most of the softness is from the soft focus; shadow noise was my reason for using NeatImage this time.

I wanted to do something more bold and creative, but ran out of time due to some personal issues and had to go with my initial idea, which I'd already shot. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get to choose a colour image for a challenge! :)

Good attempt trying to capture some atmosphere. Its a good shot but it lacks something that I´m not absolutely sure what is to make me very excited.

Nice tone on the bed contrasted with the dark curtains. The bar down the center of the window is a bit distracting.

nicely composed still life, interesting light, unfortunate that the view outside the window is so "busy" it is a distraction. Perhaps it might have been helpful to crop the top past the window catch
