 This was one of the five photos I used for my final project in my photography class this semester. This one stood out more than the others.

I turned off all of the lights in the bathroom and brought in a lamp (dangerous, I know) for lighting. I used a simple thin white cloth to diffuse the light a bit. I did my brightness/contrast editing and cropping in a RAW editing program then used Picasa to resize it.

I can agree with the title, for sure. Never considered a toilet to be a thing of beauty, but you make a very good point.

I like the minimalism of the picture but don't like the composition.. seems slighting awkward.. maybe getting more into the composition or zooming in will help..
