 Fletcher Garden is an area devoted to creation of habitat for birds, bugs and animals. There are many of these bird houses built. They're not directly accessible from the paths, so it had to be shot through branches and other growth. The bird house shows age and wear and is now empty where it would be flourishing with life come spring.

This would be better if that out of focus branch wasn't in the way.

Most definitely fits the theme, thought the shot does not have impact for me. Perhaps some tweaking of curves and contrast could help. I also think it is too dead centered.

It's spoilt by the twig. Moving a few centimetres to the right might have solved this.
