 My husband and I spent a week in Kauai. Loved it. It rained an awful lot, but we still got in some sun time. The is Hanalei Bay, on the north shore.

A simple but well executes shot. Just enough off center to give it some good visual flow. I like the texture and wetness on the pier. Maybe a little too much sky in the image, the horizon line is dead centered.

I think the dock is overpowering the people. Cropping a little bit off the bottom might keep the focus on the people at the end of the dock.

I think this is an ideal place for photography. Here is what I would do. Wait for the sun, and get a bit closer. It seems right now a bit depressing :/

It looks like it may be overcast because the colors and lighting seem a tad flat.

I nice image but I think having it symetrical by centering the pier and house would have made it better.
