no link with silence ...

The flowers could be photographed more clearly here. They are not crisp and the color looks dead. Also the background appears to be overexposed.

Does this fit the challenge?

this looks like it would smell lovely and i think this is has a calming affect, but not sure if would be recognized as silence with or w/o title.

The lines on the flower appear to show somewhat of an inllusion with their lines.

thought it was a squid in the thumbnail.... i think the flower needs to be lit up a bit.

the background is a bit distracting

a very soft focus helps send your silent message - To increase the impact of the shot for me, I'd like to see the background less busy as that would send a stronger silent message. A bit more light on the main subject might be interesting to try

Sorry about this, but your's is the first flower pic i have seen this contest.
I know flowerd make no noise (that i can hear), but i'm sorry, it doesn;t convey silence to me any more than a sunflower, a sidewalk or my co,puter mouse. Does not fit challenge.

I would be interested to know what the title means and what language it is. A hyacinth, I believe, but not as crisp and clear as it could be
