Beautiful! Is that the gills of a mushroom? What an amazing close-up macro - you've transformed the gills into an alien landscape! The DOF and rising edges of the mushroom make for a good composition too.

Wow!!! It looks like an alien landscape. Great work with the lighting, it really brings out the texture; and the color is awsome.

I love the pattern and the lighting. What aperture were you using? Would it be possible to increase the depth of field? Would having all foreground focused improve the image? Congrats!
