This was shot through a filthy Plexiglas window - he is a deck below.

This is great - the orientation disorients - I'm bobbing along on the rolling deck right along with him.

Great composition. It never fails to amaze me why we spend so much money on fine glass.

wow, I love the tilted disorientation of this photo. where is the horizontal and where is the vertical? so hard to discern. it gives the picture a lot of energy. the filter of weather(?) and plexiglass just adds to the sense of distance and disorientation. I love it.

Oh YES! yes yes yes. You know sometimes you see a photo and you just want to give it a standing of ovation, this is one of those and the longer I look at it the better it gets. I spent ages trying to figure out how you got the effect, ruled out filters and rain and finally gave up and read the description, well done (I am now going in search of a piece of dirty plexiglass). Then I started to look at why it works so well and the details are great. The yellow and black rope tying in and following the contour of the yellow in the upper right, the mans blue suit and the blue water, the red rope that's on the rule of thirds but somehow links my eye to the diagonal railing and up to the mans head which turns out to be also on a third. It has a once a busy but calm look. OK I'll stop, I love it, well done!
