I would suggest greater DOF for such an image.

A little too soft and centred but I love the subject. A slightly longer DOF would help grasp the context of the shot while moving a tad to the left would expand the sense of depth I think, and allow for a more off-centre comp..

Quite original using a shallow DOF for a perspective shot. But it works, and I love the ice crystals. I like the simplicity, and the b/w conversion is nice too.

I like the subject but my first thought is that it's not sharp enough in the area of focus and my second is that the snow-covered line as it comes towards the viewer and blurs out is actually quite distracting and too overpowering a part of the whole. I do love the needles of frost on the peg though and would be interested in a similar shot bring the main peg nearer to the viewer and including more of the line of pegs in the background for perspective.

I love the icy crystals. I might've played with contrast a smidge. ;~D

What a great capture. I love the solitude and abandonment a little clip can provide.

I'd prefer a little more DoF, but I have some very similar shots (taken in b/w on a sunny fall day) and I took them because I liked the perspective.

Wish it was sharper and at least an almost in focus 2nd peg to increase the DOF perspective. THe rest just blurred too soon. Also the sharpness could be better , but nice perspective- 6

This needs much more depth of field to meet the challenge.

the dof is a bit shallow, but very nice shot.
