I would have prefered if you cropped it to a square and left the stick out - the blue flame is an art piece in itself. The stick throws the whole image of somehow - I'm not sure how well it would have fit the challenge then of course...

I was so sure this would be among the top three.... The lighting gives the smoke a 3D quality and I can almost fell the smooth texture on it. Congratulations on a great image and thanks a lot for your encouragement and comments.

I think this is a great photo, but the smoke takes my eye completely away from the textured object... the punk as we call them.
