A gift from my son. Actually, a gift my son got for himself...I know he bought them for himself but he decided to 'give' them to me for Christmas. I actually think they are pretty hilarious and he looks great in them! They blink on and off - limiting my wear time to about 30 seconds before I am ready to fall over from vertigo...

Shot in Raw in my new home studio light set up (new lights for Christmas! - Thanks to my wife).

Opened in CS2 - adjusted exposure, curves, save. Opened JPEG in Elements 3.0. Adjusted levels, hue saturation (masked out glasses), noise ninja, USM at large radius, save for web. Opened resized image, blurred and cloned right glass reflection to remove dot. Burned background, USM at small radius, a bit of dodging and cloning on my face to get rid of some of my imperfections - but I still had to show my face, so i couldn't get rid of all of them.... save.

I figure mid 5s for this - i don't have an especially photogenic face and it is a bit of a 'set up' shot. I fund it funny, but I am not sure it comes off as a funny image to others - hopefully the title will help!

Peter....I thought this was what all Nikon users looked like permanently!

A great fun photo, I love the outstanding depth and vibrancy of the red that you achieved on the desat, which works fantastically given the richness of the tomes of the black and white portion of the shot

This shot just made me laugh out loud when I saw it during scoring...Your steadfast expression is priceless given your accessory!

Nice start to the year

Absolutely funny! Glad to see the sense of humor isn't isolated. How fun that the "stupid" gift was taken with the help of a great gift!

looks very 50s sci-fi. i'm not sure about the white speck on the lens, but i would think it would be easy to fix if you'd wanted to. /10

I think DoF is too shallow here.... It does not include all this really useful night vision glasse. PP is very good.
