I find the same thing with our fancy cameras! They suck at macro shots. Top on my wish list is a macro lens, but it's hard to imagine it doing any better than this. The depth and detail on this is truly amazing.

Deb, great shot. I love the composition which means you not only get a range of textures on the sandbag but also that the shot has a real 3d feel to it that gives it tones of pop
Duper duotone conversion as well which is strong enough to give the image feeling but not overpowering to the extent that you lose the 'feel' of what is being photographed |

Another way underrated shot from you, Deb, shoulda been close to the top. Well at least you can say you don't go with the masses. |
