| Wonderful framing - I love the way the tree trunk, foliage and foreground grass all coalesce into one flowing frame. And I like the way her silhouette fuses into that mass too and yet is separate from it. The snow on the ground is essential as it provides a balancing white area to that of the sky, an area which is nicely interrupted by the tree. Overall, the image is one of contemplation in a quiet corner. 8 |
