Hand held, available light, slightly cropped, brightened, added highlights, slightly sharpened... tried to capture the ambience of observing the ornaments on a tree under natural room light. This is my first submission -- ever.
Please be gentle. Thanks! (The outhouse ornament is a one-of-a-kind, handmade creation. Will be treasured for years to come, ribbon-worthy or not.) This was fun. Hope to do more!

The focus could be better.

This seems to have been taken far too close for the camera's capability. Quite noisy as well.

I like the "Christmas-y" composition here, but the shot seems slightly out of focus. Maybe because it was a long exposure that was hand-held?

I just don't get this I'm afraid. It looks like the focus grabbed the foreground leaves, leaving the majority of the image slightly blurred. This doesn't work for me because I am trying to read whatever is hanging on the side to see what is going on. I think this has potential, and I think I am just missing the obvious. Sorry.

You must have noticed yourself that this pic is noisy and blurred. Why not lower your ISO, punt the cam on a tripod or stack of books and use a long exposure instead?

Nice focus on the grass on the left.

Very funny. The image itself is a touch grainy, but you were clearly shooting high ISO in low light. Nonetheless, it brought a smile to my face and I give it a good score for originality.

Sorry, but the colours aren't particularly interesting, and the photo is very blurry.
