Such a "cool" photo, it makes me shiver. The "Where's Waldo" effect emphasises the large powerful mountain, similar to the power of the oceans. |

Its really different, and I cant help but thinking where abouts you were shooting from and was it as cold as it looks.

Yep, that's an amazing wall of ice he's climbing. This would make a good motivation poster if you could think of an appropriate slogan.. ;-Þ |

This is a real beauty, it must have been quite cold. I took my shot at Bridal Veil Falls in Utah and in the parking lot there was and Ice Climber who had just came down and his face was bloody from a cut he had climbing. It was like 13 degrees out. I don't understand it either. :) |

I thought this was a totally amazing shot. With the guy there doing his thing and then all of the hanging ice. I can only imagine that this must be spectacular to see in person. I expected this to win the blue... but congrats on the Red! |

Does this mean you were climbing a parallel waterfall to achieve this shot, LOL? What great perspective and composition. Something different. Can't help with your hamster though. |

This is truly gorgeous ice. I like that you included a human element to show scale and the challenge of the climb. The darkness in the center gives a feeling that the climber has almost reached something. Amazing work! Perfect for the challenge. |
