 We had company the weekend of the 14th. Sadly, Cartesia was feeling quite left out because Tay and her friend didn't want to play with her. So, Cartesia's dad, mad_brewer, decided he would play a game with her. Here you see the two of them playing a game of Candy Land. Of course, neither one of them could hold still long enough for me to capture a picture. I guess the motion blur adds a nice touch to the picture. What an awesome dad he is!

I love the processing on this, looks like a still frame from a 50's or 60's Christmas movie. Very nice.

This has a very old family photo kinda of feel. Makes me think of my own childhood and good memories. I think the blur, the composition and everything just work perfectly to convey this. Nice candid!

Candyland - what an awesome game. I have played that like, a bazillion times with my kids and with another three year old and five month old, there will probably be another bazillion:)

I like the sepia and "old fashion" feel. Nice low angle.

The toning helps to make this very nice. It accents the people without a lot of color to distract. You are fortunate that your dad takes time to share himself when it counts.
