 Played with Levels, bumped upp contrast and brightness, hue and sat. Unsharp, Auto Curved, Add Border. Crop and resize.

This is my first challange since I got my EOS 10D. I know this will not rate much higher than 5 in avarage. I just have to use my new cam ASAP :D

Certainly a strong leading line - I'd find the image more interesting if I could see more clearly where it lead to, although I appreciate that the fact it leads into a mist-shrouded distance is how it meets the challenge.

This fits the challenge very well. The yellow and green really stand out from the grey road and add some color to the photo. I think you should have tried a different perspective than just standing, closer to the ground would probobly work better if you could still see the end of the road.

Interesting. Less sky and more road. There is too much stuff at the horizon to convey "Road into silence", make your horizon further away.

This is a very imaginative shot which captures the idea of an escape from somethign to the silence of the distant hills. Beautiful colouration and the composition is excellent. Border is nice too.

definetly feel the road trip for sure...or long journey but not feeling silence at all...still good photo and well composed

Vel gert... Auðvelt að finna svona staði á Ãslandinu en virkar mjög vel á útlendingana sem sjá svona landslag allt öðrum augum þar sem þetta er jú séríslenskt..
Passar vel við þemað. 9 punktar og einginn klíkuskapur í gangi ;)
