I'm sorry, I'm seeing "My whole world against a blue wall," not "my whole world in a corner". If I had to guess, my guess it's Jean's shot (because admittedy it's another one of those which is a good use of negative space). I might wrong on that one. But that's my guess. I'm sure I'll find out come next week. CJ |

I have been coming back to this image again and again through the week. Real and honest simple things are very precious. At the end of the story, after going through 243 other photographs, I recognized the talent behing this picture, and the level of emotion conveyed. This is, as simple as it is, simply brilliant, and my final choice to win this race. BTW, I also think it's technically faultless and the chosen tittle is excellent. |

Visually appealing photograph - the color of the wall works well with the skintones on the child. He did a good job of keeping his eyes off of the camera and focused on the corner. 7 - JB |

The lighting on the child is very good. No shadows, no glare. Nice fleshtones and sharp picture. At first I didn't get the title, but I think I do now. |

funny, this looks more like a negetive space entry. i was thinking this challenge was mostly about places, the blue doesn't really place the photo in a geographical sense. on the other hand, it's dippy to take points off for creativity, so you get a seven anyway. cute kid. |

There were a few this week that followed the idea "my family is my world"; photographically, this was the best IMO. I really like it. It hhas some banding, but I'm not sure if it's my monitor here in the office; I'll check it from home. IN either case, it didn't affect your score. Job well done. 8, just-married |

You have done so well to capture this connection and I praise the simplicity of te shot and color - the nice thing about the challenge is that it frames the view of such a photo to make it a winner because you captured the theme and struck something in all of us who are or love to be parents with such a simple, perfect shot! 9 sgtpepper6344 |

Very interprative. Good color gradient. Sharp child, though he has a bluish cast, and is slightly overexposed. 8 |

I really like the blue background in this. The way you have it framed makes the child look small as compared to his world, but looking upwards as if he is anticipating the future or something. karmat |
