 First entry for a while; I found it very difficulty to photograph fire. I wanted something simple and after a fair few shots I captured one where the flame was actually sympathetic to the composition I was after.
I had to do a fair bit of post processing to achieve the desired result.

Very cool. I really like gradation of the flame and how it blends nicely with the border you chose. Good job.

Wonderful composition, but lack of detail in the flame hurts. A little more light or negative exposure compensation could have solved it.

I like the texture you got in the match head - then the sweep of the flame is amazing! What a composition! Wish there was a bit more detail in the flame - so much of it is white. 9

Whte border doesn't work for me - takes away from the white hot paint with light effect. Otherwise, nice composition and abstract quality.

Love the beautiful shape of the flame. I like how your eyes are lead from the bottom toward the top following the curves. Nice simple composition. I say ditch the white frame, it interferes with the composition. I don't take off points for frames. "10"

bit too abstract for me...the most interesting part to me is the neat texture at the base of the flame....this flame does not work for me although it is nice in the area over the texture.
