the lighting's great, actually. and so is the composition. sometimes a shot like this transforms into pure image. you don't quite transcend being a bottle and a box of tissues, but you come close. I gave it a 6. |

I read the comment from photom1946 and think it is un-called for, this is a great site to come and learn from some of the best but unfortunatly some people put out some really useless comments that come off like insults.
Overall the image is pretty basic and needs some tweaking, I do like the idea of the window for the contrast but it helps when the subject is more interesting, something like a odd shaped bottle or candle. Also maybe try some different angles, I would possibly go ever so slightly higher to get more detail in the window sill.
Good luck in future challenges |

It could be my monitor – but there is no detail in the foreground and the window is blown. I’d guess given this is an “advanced editing” challenge it wouldn’t be difficult to fix. |

i like the shot, however the tissue box and water bottle do not make very interesting subjects. |

besides poor composition and bad lighting, this is not very good at all. |

Meets the challenge, but I'm just not finding much interest in this. I do like the way you tried to use the natural contrast of the shadows vs the bright window. Perhaps more of a near perspective may have helped. Or if it were a glass or vase on the windowsill instead. |
