I would have cropped out the rock in the back – and just left the bottom part of the image. In my opinion the start would really be “isolated” then.

Not crazy about landscape shots like this (portrait orientation with prominent foreground object on bottom), but this is a very good example of it. 7

The DOF limitations make the rock above water a little fuzzy. The near rock is clearly the subject, but my eye is divided between the two rocks. Otherwise, this is pretty good.

VERY cool perspective here. I love how big the star looks in comparison to everything else. Very neat

Overall an interesting shot. I did however look at the large rock at the top of the picture before I looked at the starfish. A different perspective making the starfish the main feature might have worked better.

Yup, great shot. Got the sky looking as DPC likes it, got the high contrast. I can imagine this doing well. Only nitpick is that the star looks a little overexposed. Beautiful image.
