This looks like a beautiful place to visit. I love how the brown cones in front contrast with the cool white of the background.

VERY NICE 8

Great Clarity and color contrast. The depth of the picture is outstanding. Speaking of clarity...look at the pine cones and also the the clarity of the background.

I think you were in the right spot, but the focus seems a little off from what the subject should be, or try to zoom in/crop a little more next time. ie. too much fluff not enough subject.

Great subject. I would have loved to see this with the structure not in the middle, but off to the side (remember--"rule of thirds").

Great view captured.

if those trees werent there, this would be SUCH an awesome shot. But i know you cant just pick up trees and move them or whatever. So i like the top part of the picture but not the bottom haha.

This makes me want to go exploring to see it more closely.

Wow looks like something out of a fantasy movie. Nice include of the trees.

I like this picture, it tells a "story."

Nice One!!

This is really neat looking. I think framing the tower off to the right a bit from where it is might have been better composition.

nice landscape. great how the colour in the trees are more saturated. really well composed photo.

Too much haze in the background (where a lot of ice is). Foreground is too distracting in color and in clarity.

Awesome - I dont care that some voters are being picky about the difference between snow and ice - your great pic deserves a great score - 10 -

Wow! Beautiful scene. Where the heck is it? It looks like a beautiful and historic place (none of that in my neighborhood)! I like the coldness of the background with the warm foreground. The castle is a little too centered for me, maybe up and to the left just to offset. It seems a little blurred but maybe that's my monitor.

NIce angle for the shot, it is framed well with the trees. The problem for me is that the trees distract because they are blocked by a haze. It causes the eye to go to them instead of the castle.

Love this photograph.
