 This was taken on an icy morning through a fogged double pane window. I think that added to the frost effect. The background is a rosemary bush that has tiny white blossoms which also emphasize the frosty appearance. (My camera is a Cannon Power Shot A870 but that # was not on the choices to pick)

I think you have a good idea I wish we had a little more focus on the flakes to really bring them out in the photo.

What exactly is the subject? If it's the frost on teh window/screen, you might want to do a closer-up shot to capture some of the texture...

Colors are distracting. I'm not sure if I need to focus on the white specks or the colored blobs. Need a defined subject and some balance here.

I can't quite make out what this is and the pattern isn't sharp enough to create interest. greens and pinks are interesting but not enough to make me want to ponder it.
