Very nice shadows on the moutain range. Trees and sky are great as well. Wire fence on right somewhat distracting (although the ones further off in distance are OK).

looks like an awesome drive to your friend's place .. new mexico .. looks like a great place to live especially if you're a photographer .. :) .. great shot .. loving the blue of the sky with the dry and dead looking grass etc .. :)

Nice spot. I might try some selective dodging and burning to bring out the texture of the trees and brush some more.

they could be..i'm not great at identifying trees especially in winter. we have a lot of pinon trees (state tree). beyond the fence is the start of the sandia reservation.
