Wow, this is, I believe, a first for me. Someone put this in the DPC calendar. I think that this shot would be MUCH more potent as a black and white. The green of the grass seems totally out of place with the feeling of the shot. The only potential problem with that is that I don't know if there is enough contrast in the texture of the grass to make it pop...

Kinda dark but not in the good way. Good theme though I like it |

Nice study, bit too bright on the grass n the foreground. Takes away from the powerful image of the cross's. |

I like the feel of the endless rows of headstones, but the flash on the grass is distracting. |

Great use of repetition to drive home the huge losses suffered. An absence that must surely feel like a huge, gaping and silent hole. Curious about the choice to photograph this at night, though it certainly provides an interesting change from blue and green. The line of crosses leading into the darkness is intriguing, visually. |

A fantastic shot - something's not quite right with the foreground, but great nonetheless. I like the combination of colour and B/W - hard to achieve |

Needs more than a flash, or should be taken at dusk/dawn |

i like this, the light is neat, suprised the flashed worked so well on the farther back crosses without blowing out the front ones, whats the trick? |

The flash on the grass is distracting. I think there could have been a better way to light the scene. |

I really like this shot. The only thing I wonder is if it would have looked better a little earlier into dusk so you didn't have to have the harsh light in the front. But I like it regardless. Good luck. |

seems like the light ends about where the crosses start, maybe a closer, lower vantage point would have worked better |

Interesting subject.
It might have been better to take the picture at dusk or dawn when the light conditions are much more interesting. The light in the front part of the picture does not work for me. There is also much noise present in the picture. It is most noticable in the crosses and in the night sky.
Good perspective though! |
