| To me this photo says silence more than the others. If you've ever been in the forest after a heavy wet snow you know how quiet it is. Not only are there few animals around, but the snow and cloud cover deaden any noise. The only thing I think would have given us more silence is to have eliminated the road (it reminds me of cars-noise). However the twisting road adds nice composition. |

| very nice - for me it would have worked more if the very dark trunks on the left were echoed by the fence/guardrail at the right having a little more substance/dark themselves, it feels a bit unbalanced |

| Beautiful. By far the best "silence" landscape I've seen so far. Expsoure seems just a tad to bright, but composition and contrast are excellent. |

| I rated most of the scenic shots 5 to 6. Gave you an 8 because your picture conveys the FEELING well of being alone and silent. The snow scene is part of it. Snow can be so quiet. Well done. |

| rather over exposed, (there is no detail in the snow), nice image, and nice cropping. |
