 My small village is located in a region called Lanaudière. Many rivers run through it but one is seen from the north to the south and eventually ends up in the St.Lawrence River: the L'Assomption river. This is it.

A really striking B&W image that fully conveys a sense of coldness. It looks a little tilted to me, though.

From here in South Florida, this looks like a beautiful place. This image does justice to a magnificent landscape. The B& W works very nicely with the stark contrasts of snow and trees.

What a beautiful, idylic, scene. It makes me yearn for the snow that we've seen very little of! The diagonal tree tends to lead your eye out of the scene, I wish there was something that pulled your eyes back down into the scene ... maybe a branch on that tree that pointed down?
I really really like this peaceful winter scene, they always make we want to cuddle up and watch the area turn beautiful.
