 A closeup of the burners in my furnace. I thought they looked like a jet fighter or some kind of sci-fi hardware with the blue flames shooting out of the ends. I tried using my Canon EOS 10D for this shot, but my Nikon Coolpix 4500 turned out to be much more flexible in capturing this point of view. The CP4500 does suffer terribly from noise in low light, however, so I used NeatImage and lots of spot editting to clean up hot pixels and noisy areas. Curve and Level adjustments brought additional details out of the shadows.
