 i just signed up for DPChallenge a couple days ago. i am doing this image for the portrait with specticals challenge. i used one strobe and a diffusion screen to light the subject and background. i like to keep my lighting simple, and as natural looking as possible when doing these simple little portraits. i gave my subject a series of motivations to work off of. the one he expressed for me the best was "stressed." so i guess you could say that this is my illustration of stressed while wearing glasses.

I like it. I'm glad your chose black and white. Your image is washed out on the right however.

Good expression. Definitely looks stressed, but wit ha nice comic flare. only complaint would be that it's a little too bright in the left background - but a minor point. Nice shot.

Very posed. Okay focus, but maybe you could have focused a little more on the glasses themselves and not so much on the hands and upper torso.

The face is over-exposed on the left of the frame and merges into the background.
