| Wonderful shot, Carol! The blue sky is such a great contrast to the starkness of the frozen lake and the bare trees. Great detail in the foreground too. Keep up the great work! I haven't taken a picture all month...need to get back out there! |

| A very appealing image but like so many others in this challenge I am struggling to feel the silence. Peace and tranquility maybe in the heart of a city but this image does not speak to me of silence for the simple reason that cities are noisy places. Still it scores well for its composition. |

| This definately conveys "silence" :) The only thing I might change is not having the person so centered in the shot. I would have had him on the right hand side of the photo, since he is looking toward the left. Good work. |
