Gee, another graveyard.......sigh

One can certainly understand the silent contemplation - and the silence of absence of the deceased. The circles of the wreaths give added visual interest. It's minor but I do feel that the umbrella shouldn't be cropped by the edge of the frame. If it were completely included, it would feel more like she's 100% in this situation, in this little snapshot of time, instead that escaping umbrella is a link to what's outside the frame. I know that's weird but I think having the key subject wholly enclosed by the frame would benefit the strength of the message.

the most origonal of the 'grave yard' shots in this challenge.. and ther were lots of them.. composition is good.. a little tighter depth of field would have added drama to the image with the background more out of focus.. nice effort..

The border is too thick, I think. The umbrella is cut off on the edge too. Otherwise, very nice tone.

This photo is right on the mark with the theme. The bowed head and her attention say it all. My own personal taste though: border should have been left off or done in black. It has a greenish cast on my screen. DOF might have been more shallow focusing on her and the grave site. I immediately get the idea from what is in the foreground and don't need the details of the background. The very best of luck. You got a high rating from me.

I have returned to this shot three times looking for anything to give it even a higher rating. . . I've gone about as far as I can go with an 8.

Nice photo, but a black border would be more appropriate. I would also like to see the whole umbrella

I would like it better in color, but it is still a nice picture and should do very well

Strong image but I find the other wreaths distracting
