It's raining!! That's a big deal in Phoenix. We're getting the fallout from California storms.

This is the view from my front door. At the top you see a big of the overhang. My neighbor Kim's door is on the left - she watches my cats when I'm gone. The mountain and the water tower are straight ahead.

Hey thanks for sharing...I love seeing where everyone lives! This is a beautiful place. I like living in the desert. I live in the high desert..only problem being the snow of course. I bet you're enjoying the rain!! Love your wooden windchimes, btw.

i would love to feel that warrm rain on a day like today
here all the snow has melted but the air is cold and the sky is still bleary. I agree with Jane (stargazer) and would love to take a hike up that hill.

Rain must be a welcome site esp if it's so dry all the time..
This shot makes me want to hike to the top and side what's beyond.

I was wondering what that cement structure was. Thanks for the explanation. I remember when I was in Arizona for about 6 weeks, it rained and thunder storemed one night. IT WAS CRAZY! I had never seen such lightning in my life! Would love to capture some of that on camera!

I lived in Arizona for almost 5 years, left in June of last year, and sometimes the rain can be a welcome sight there!
