| Not sure what you are shooting, but a polarizer would help the water color. Even without that, this is nice. |

| The clouds and whole of the background is very good but the shadowy forground could be better (although the subject is very nice). Flash would probably not do much in this situation but how about longer exposure (or would it burn out the background)? Or how about B&W? |

| Well, snow does muffle sound, so I guess your title could fit that way. For me though, most of the peaceful landscape entries simply offer ideal places in which to escape the noisiness of modern living and spend some quiet time. The rich blue of the distant water really lifts this. |

| Man... this one really does capture that isolated, deserted corner of the winter world. I also like that (unlike others in this challenge) you actully have a strong subject and you made the composition interesting. Good luck! |

| Looks like Tahoe. Very pretty, seems to be some yellowing around the bottom? Might be compression. Pretty area where ever it is. |
