Directly across the street from where I work. I really liked the "stuff" in this shot, but unfortunately the focus was off, and there wasn't much I could do to sharpen things up. So.... try some overlays.

I thought it was like a Japanese painting from the thumbnail. I like the overlays and I don't mind the focus being off because it adds to the painterly feel.

Nice way to salvage a photo. Works well and makes it all arty - which the elements of the image are anyway. I like it.

Great use of overlays. I really like the effect. Better than if it had all been sharp.

Your are right, there is some seriously 'stuff' here. If it needs an overlay, so be it.

oh Germaine this is great. to be honest I am not wild about the overlay but the image is really smooth in its movement, with a loot of interesting shapes to keep the eye busy....and I love that stripe of Germaine red, not to mention his hat!
