 It's a spiral of tubing for climbing on (part of some playground equipment). It looks like a big, yellow spring when view from farther away. Edited with just a little curves adjustment and mild USM.

Ya know... I'm actually surprised this didn't score higher... I bet if there had been a flower in the corner you'd have top tenned :-D

Nice yellow color, repeating patterns. A little too abstract for me. My eye is attracted to the dark spots yet I don't think they're especially interesting. I think you'd either want to make the dark spots an interesting subject or find a way to not have them in the shot.
