A nice Kill there.... always wondered what a Kill was when I arrived in NYC. I thought for a while it had something to do with the Mafia of Staten Island - immediately I associated ditches with dead bodies... In fact, so I understand, the word Kill is derived from the Dutch language, early settlers in NYC, and means ditch.

nice choice for B/W though I'm not a fan of the gradient shading so evident from top to bottom, I realize this type of PP is done alot here |

Stunning - it's the sharp reflections of the grasses in the water that take this from being really nice to great imho. Also one of those shots where a clear sky really works in a very simple but beautiful composition. |
