 Not sure why the title. Guess for some reason it makes me think of the soldiers rushing the cliffs at Normandy-many of whom were left in the surf. Go stand on the sand of Omaha beach and feel their presence.

The lighthouse doesn't really add to the picture IMO, but removing it felt like a major element deletion. My sensor was a mess, so the sky required some cloning, healing, and gaus blur. Still not happy with the blue area but I'm done trying to fix it.

Beach, water, blur, sunset colors, DPC. Has potential.

I actually really like the lighthouse. I'm glad you kept it because IMO it gives the picture another element and detail.

cool - the lighting makes the lighthouse and town buildings appear to be almost just a mirage
