 Since I entered a very similar picture in the "bird" challenge, I wanted to enter something else.

This was the pic that was entered:

But I got scared that it would not score very high in a free study, so I chickened out and decided to go for a "almost sure" 6+ picture.

Alain, I did the same thing. I had a portrait entered in the FS, then backed it out and entered a second shot of the same hummingbird. I a lot of ways, I like this one better than your other eagle. Both are great shots, and I like being able to see into the mouth of the other one, but the composition and exposure control on this one are better.

Both excellent, though.
