Hmmm, great angle, Just adjust the DOF and a bit more. It's a lttle harsh. However, I like it.

I'm going to have to guess that I am looking at a harp. Very nice use of depth of field. I bet you wished you had saved this idea for the parrellel lines chanllenge though. ;)

The soft focus does not work for me on this. Background lighting is nice.

Awesome shot. I really like the DOF here and the fact that the way you composed the image draws you in - the lines really help to move your eye. I like the lighting as well. Good luck!

Oh I do love shallow DOF when used effectively! Parallel lines are great and I like the way that the column bit at the left anchors the image. Nice colours too.

This is one of my favorites for the challenge. your choice of subject is one that most would not consider. The angle you shot from was also unique. super job:)

a bit too abstract for my tastes, interesting angle and nice DOF

Charming subject and good take on the Challenge. I do wish more of this lovely instrument was in focus.

Hrm, harp? I'm wondering about the composition - either you are shooting up and that's the perspective or you tried to do a diagonal. The image is fairly abstract and so the strength is with the geometric shapes. The lines are interesting but I dont think they have enough strength to capture the attention of the viewer for too long.

Good perspective. It almost looks like the strings are a bit blown out in the foreground. Otherwise, this would be a really eyecatching shot.

I like the attempt of your composition and p-erspective however it is too much out of focus which detracts from it. Nothing to focus on with the exception of the red string which keeps drawing my eye to it.
