| Yep, it's yellow. :-) Ummm...what else. Let's see. The lighting is a little harsh - indirect (or bounced light) may have softened it a bit. The composition is quite static with the centered subject. Attention to detail (the lint specks on the dark background jump out immediately) is helpful as well in improving scores. All JMO of course. :-) Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

| Not particularly original, burnt out specular highlights in places and it seems to fade to black pretty aggressively where it would meet a surface and seems a little odd. The word "Yellow" spelt out with lots of oranges would have put all the other lemon entries to shame. |
