 So I asked Bev, got any ideas for Rivers and Streams. So she said something about a bridge and a creek over where she bought peaches in the summer in S.Jersey. So we went. The river did not do much for me. So we crossed the one way bridge to the other side and came up this large pond by the river with geese in it. I liked the reflections of the trees. Sorry it's a pond. But it won't win anyway.

Post: Convert from Raw in PSElements 3.0 with a +0.33 exposure compensation. Power Retouche Dynamic Range Compressor. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Layer of curves. Nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 brilliance/warmth. Spot heal dust in sky and a small piece of vegetation as well as some drek at the bottom of the image. Crop 2x. Shapen. Cropped a third time cause I miscalculated the aspect ratio or something. Resize. Sharpen.

Nothing really pops out and grabs me, except for the reflections.

This shot seems cramped, or too narrow left to right. Also, having the horizon directly in the middle (or pretty close) gives it a static feeling.
