I'm not sure what kind of bloom this is; It came off a tree at Paradise Park in Melbourne, FL. I was there to photograph some surfers, but found these blooms to be amazing! The ant was a great subject, he stayed in place while the wind blew the bloom around and I was able to get this shot.

Cropped, brightened, saturated, and actually went down on the contrast. Shot with a -2 compenstation on a flash, regular photos with no flash were coming out pretty flat.

I think the ant on the flower is a little distracting but overall good composition.

I think the shot could have been improved if it had been zoomed in tighter on the ant.

I like the tight crop and the ant on th eflower but feel the harsh lighting distracts a bit and could be a sharper.

Focus seems a little soft, but still a nice shot

I love how you can see the ant on the flower, your title goes well with this photo.

Some level adjustment and sharpening would help this photo.
