 I was taking photos for the challenge on a day when the sky was grey and a bit of snow was falling. As a result I did not want to include the sky in the photo. I decided to try and concentrate on the character of the building & the texture of the wood.

Post processing is basically just crop, shadow/highlight, hue/saturation, curves, unsharp mask, a bit of noise ninja, resize, a bit more unsharp mask.

Well-spotted motif. Doesn't need to be all the doors and windows, etc. Conveys a powerful idea.

I like it, but perhaps the grass takes away from the fence on the right side. My concern would be that most voters wont spend the time trying to figure it out. Besides that its a beautiful shot

I like the texutre of the wood and the composition of the image but the grass looks slightly over sharpened.
